“Months
later, after staying there as he when to the night class then he was robbed. On
getting home in the morning the room was empty. Then I was the one he called,
on getting there his properties was taken of which were gas cylinder, money,
smart phone etc.
“Then
he told me I wouldn’t was to remain in the room again. I can see his fear
through his eye. Then, I still accept him to stay with me for the second time.
Oh! Etido, what kind of human being are you? This was the question I keep
asking myself. After what happened the last time. But I still believe in given
a second chance because what really matter is being the change.
“Still
on the same note he never paid for any bills. There I initiate a social
distance. As they say when you eat with trouble shooter, use long spoon. I have
learnt my lesson the last time. I wouldn’t want to repeat itself. Though, it
was tough but I wouldn’t mind because we don’t have much time before final
paper. Hence, I can’t let him suffer on the street.
“Wow!
There comes our last examination paper. The journey of a thousand miles has
come to an end. Then what rely motivated me to say these come when I took a
glance through his acknowledgement in his project. I was never reference in
anyway. I was so amaze, how human race could be terrible. It never meant
anything but it means a lot.
So I
will conclude by saying never help human with the aim of having appreciated.
