WORST MISTAKE

    In a village called lmoke , they were three(3) friends whose names were Abigail, Nkechi and Chizaram who lived a bad life. They never listened to the advice of their parents. Abigail was the worst she was like their leader. They never concentrated on their studies and were the gossip of the town. Different men slept with them in exchange for Money 💰 and other things.

    One day, Abigail, Nkechi and Chizaram had a place to go to they lied to their parents that they were going on an excursion which was not true. All they needed was time to go out with men and have fun. Their parents allowed them to go and warned them to be careful. The next day they were all set to go, on their way going the saw the principal and they quickly hid thinking that he did not see them.

When he passed, they went out of their hiding place and began to mock him. They remembered that they were going somewhere, they quickly checked their time and saw that they were already late, they began to run. Within a short time they were at their destination. The Men were angry because they were not time concious, they apologized and they all left immediately.They arrived at the Party late and quickly changed into a nice dress and were ready for the party. They went to the hall they ate, drank and also had enough that they forgot the time. 

In the morning, they rushed to go home because they were late. On their way home they began to plan on what they will tell their parents kept them out all night 🌃. Nkechi suggested that they should tell their parents that their vehicle 🚑 went bad so they had no options than to sleep on the road. They hailed her for such brilliant suggestion. They all parted ways, they went home and sneaked into their various homes.

The next day, their parents instead of scolding, allowed them go to school and wait for their return. On their way to school they mate a drunkard who told them to change with the influence of alcohol. Abigail mocked the drunkard saying he was stupid and useless Abigail cursed the drunkard that all his generation shall be mad. Nkechi and Chizaram asked the drunkard to explain what he meant by saying so. Abigail had already left them by then, the drunkard told what will happen as results of their wrong doings. They went home and thought about it and changed. 

The next day Nkechi and Chizaram visited Abigail they told her everything the drunkard had said, Abigail was so disappointed at them for believing such thing especially from a drunkard. She when inside brought out water 🌊 and poured it on them. Telling them to go away. From that day Abigail, Nkechi and Chizaram were no longer friends. 

 Two months later Abigail went out with some guys whom she slept with she was having fun with them, after 2 weeks she was vomiting and her mother was surprised at her strange behaviour, she had to go for check up at the near by clinic where she discovered that she was 3weeks pregnant. She cried all day but refused to tell her parents. The next day her mother saw the test result and was shocked 😲. She quickly sent for Abigail but Abigail was no where to be found she left for the neighboring village in search of an herbalist that will help her terminate the pregnancy. After two weeks she went back home 🏠 thinking her mother didn't know about the pregnancy. Immediately she reached her mother asked her where she was she told her mother that she was at her friend's house. Her mother knew that she was lying she quickly asked about the pregnancy Abigail was shocked and confused, her mother told her not to do anything to the pregnancy but to keep it. She was forced to tell her mother everything and how she terminated the pregnancy, her mother wept bitterly, she knew that it was an abomination to spilled the blood of an innocent child. Her mother began to question her, who was responsible for the pregnancy. Abigail was confused she had slept with many men that night. Her mother began to cry again. Two weeks later she died of heart attack, that was the beginning of suffering for Abigail.

 By now, Nkechi and Chizaram were graduate. Nkechi was a doctor while Chizaram was a lawyer. Abigail regretted her past life she which she had listened to her friends. She Left to the city in search of what to do but she was not qualified for a well paid Job because she was not Educated. Abigail was forced to start hawking fruits to earn a living. She later met a guy who was interested in her. They later got married and were happy.

After three years of marriage, Abigail was still unable to get pregnant or bear a child. So they went for check up at their personal clinic. When the results of the results of the test was out it was clear that Abigail could no longer bear a child because her womb was badly damaged due to the to the abortion she did in the past. Her womb could no longer carry a child. She wept as they droved home in silence and partners refused to talk to each other. Her husband was so confused because Abigail never told him any of those things and he couldn't believe his ears. Her husband sent her packing and later married a new wife who bore him many children to inherit his properties. Abigail was stranded she had no one to run to for assistance she began to regret her past life and wish she listened to both her parents and friends. She said truly my past has come back to hunt me. She wished she never terminated the pregnancy. She said again what I rejected before is what I'm looking for today. Abigail had to start life all over again she became a reference sister now and lived a holy life and served God faithfully. Later, went to the village and pleaded for her father's forgiveness. And her father forgives her.
