I saw a young Akwa-Ibomite known as Okocha due to his football skills a native of Uyo Local Government Area in the state sweeping and as he was about to burn the refuse he was asked not to by an Igbo Man".  "This argument sustain till he(Igbo Man) picked a fight which he later went to his shop brought out screw Driver and plug off his ( Akwa-Ibomite) eye." The Mass began riots which later lead to inveding of shops. Sell of some items on auctions. Nigerian police force arrived the scene but called on the assistant of the superior security.  AMAZING...NIGERIA🇳🇬 is now the 2ND BIGGEST country in our Facebook family and overall support base. It’s been amazing to see the support grow from AFRICA and the country where my roots lie. To set the record straight I was born in Canada. Both my parents were born in Nigeria. I can speak pidgin because I spent my whole childhood infused in Nigerian culture. From Igbo school, to watching hundreds of Nollywood movies with my dad, and just being around the whole Canadian Nigerian community all the time it’s just second nature because that how I grew up. NUC splits Mass Communication into 7 other degree programmes

 The National Universities Commission (NUC) says it has not abolished the study of Mass Communication in Nigerian universities, saying that the course has just been unbundled into seven other degree programmes. Mr Ibrahim Yakasai, the NUC Director of Corporate Affairs disclosed this on Friday in Abuja while clarifying the commission’s position on some online reports claiming that the NUC had phased out Mass Communication. Yakasai urged universities wishing to run the new programmes to seek permission from the commission before running them. He also said that universities across the country have authority of the commission to begin the programmes as soon as they met the necessary requirements.
